Dr. Slim Mesfar

Dr Slim Mesfar holds a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from the University of Franche-Comté, France. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Advanced Business Studies, Carthage – University of Carthage. He has solid professional and industrial experiences with several IT expertise missions (consulting, project management, web development expertise and Information systems design and implementation).
Dr Slim Mesfar is a Certified Scrum Professional (Scrum Master & Product Owner), a member of the Scrum Alliance & a SAFe Program Consultant. He is also recognized as a transformation coach and a Senior trainer in Agile - Scrum methodology and related topics. Among the customers he is training, we can quote : Technicolor, Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, Tunisie Telecom, Focus Corporation, Vermeg, UIB -Groupe Société Générale, STB- Société Tunisienne de Banque, etc.;
Dr Mesfar has also 2 entrepreneurship activities :
- Co-founder at BeAgile - TENSTEP Group Company : specialized in Agile Project Management training, transformation coaching as well as certification courses,
- Co-founder and CTO at The WEBSIDE - a YET Group Company for more than 10 years.
Beside his professional activities, his teaching and research activities are focused in the fields of Project Management, Agile Methodologies, Software Engineering, Information Systems Modelisation and Natural Language Processing. He participated for several years as an invited researcher in projects funded by the French National Research Agency from 2007 until 2014. In 2011, he was an invited Senior Lecturer at the University of Paris 1 – Pantheon Sorbonne, France. He participated in many international conferences as a member of organization and scientific committees.
