Shailesh Gabhane

My professional inspiration is not different from personal inspiration. It is people who will stop at nothing to make a positive difference to other people’s lives. I am fortunate to have the desire to help as a coach, mentor and guide to all those professionals across the world and to contribute and improve the agile community through several outreach programs.
I am always willing to learn, I insist on continuous improvement, whether it’s my presentation, writing, or teaching skills, or related to Project/ Program/ Portfolio Management, Agile, or any other subjects. I enjoy learning and welcome feedback, that makes me a better person every other day.
My journey to a Mentor, started when I was 11 years old, and it has been very challenging and exciting as well. This was necessitated, out of necessity to survive, as I was born and raised in a very humble family. An opportunity came knocking my door when one of my friends had certain difficulties in mathematics and I helped him pass the exam with flying colors, and that’s how it all started, out of necessity providing coaching to students.
In my 27 years of career, I learned through my experiences, mistakes and when I share my experiences with others it gives me immense contentment. My desire to help people, learn and grow in their professional life is something which drives and gives me inner satisfaction.
I approach my mentees with just the right amount of curiosity to help them uncover their strengths, work towards a preferred future, and move through the mindsets and problems that are not working for them, and help them find their best stuff.
At this time, while I am writing this, I have conducted more than 10,000’s of training program on various subjects, be it inside or outside of the organization, all over the world, be it Canada, USA, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, India, Srilanka, & etc.
